Noblest Fliers!!!

This post is hardly my subject, well, our subject. Though i do really want to share this knowledge :) Here im gona tell something about Owls! I know that you are wondering "gee.. what the crap he is talking about??!!". Believe me fellas it will be more interesting..... :)

The idea of posting this came up to me after i read 'Guardians of Ga'Hoole'; a fiction based novel series. I hope some of you might have watched the anime movie 'Legend of the Guardians: Owls of Ga'Hoole' which is based on the books i mentioned earlier.To survive as a nocturnal being there are some traits needed strictly, such as eye sight, hearing and good flight in case of flying beings. Owls are almost outstanding in all the above and also they are more than that!!!

In case of sight, well, their face is similar to us both the eyes are forward facing unlike other birds whose eyes are placed at side of their heads. Their eyes are fixed so that they cant roll their eyes like us but only move their heads to change vision,where comes an interesting fact that they could turn their head at 270 degree angle at either direction!!! This makes possible for owls to rest their head between their shoulders while sleeping!!!

The position of the ears are asymmetrical, so that makes them exceptional at hearing, especially barn owls (Tytonidae). They can easily triangulate the location of their prey by the help of their hearing ability. Its possible that they can even hear a smallest noise made by their prey!!!

The most amazing part comes under the topic of flying ability. Owls are extraordinary fliers especially in night time. They are the only birds who could fly as slow as possible.They are called as 'silent fliers'. Because while flying or hunting their prey they fly with almost no noise!!! Thanks to their secondary plumage ,which soften the air passing them so that the noise created by flapping of wings will be very very low even the owl itself cant hear it!!! This outstanding gift of flying provides them a good hunting in two ways; the prey wont hear the sound of the owl and also the owl could hear the sound of the prey clearly.

The most odd thing is their digestive system. They have two stomachs!!! One of them is called as Gizzard which plays an important role in owls digestion. The parts of their food which cant be digested such as fur, bones, teeth etc., are compressed in to small pellets and they are yarped or spitted out by the owls!!! Remaining are passed out into a liquid form.

In our country, well most of us, think them as bad luck or sign of death and hearing their hoot denotes someone is gona die. But that is nuts!!!. They are one hell of different kind of living beings. We should try to study more about such wonderful creatures around us rather than avoiding them.

Burrowing owl- Usually live in burrows. Their long legs are meant to make burrows easily and are helpful while running !!!

Barn owl- They are the most beautiful kind among owls. They are famous for their heart shaped face and extraordinary hearing.

Elf owl- They are the smallest one among the owl kinds. Maximum growth is about 12.5- 14.5 cm.

Great gray owl- They are the biggest owl kind. They grow up to 70 cm maximum.

Whatever the thing is everyone look up only for the best one and only the best gets recognition all over the globe. But also the exact opposite is possible!! If there is a best then there will be a worst. Consider your schooling. After these years your teachers could remember only some of their old students. But the probability is high for only two categories ,one is, the best outstanding students ,who made them proud and happy, and  well,another is, the worst students , who annoyed them till the last day of school.
 But do you know that the worst also got recognized with accolades?!!!
I got to know this from a friend and searched to know about it. Astonishing!!!
There are awards for the best in worst in the field of cinema!! 

'Golden Raspberry award' or 'Razzie' in short is an award given to the best in worst movie, worst actor, worst actress, worst director, worst screen play etc., Though some of the categories like worst song, worst musical score, worst new star, worst visual effects were retired. This award was founded by American copy writer and publicist 'John J.B. Wilson' in 1981. This year's award ceremony (32nd) was held at Magicapolis in Santa monica on April 1st.

In case of nominees one thing made me dumbfounded. Well i encountered some of the Box office hits and famous actors in the list of nominees, even some of them were awarded!!!
*Worst movie of the year 2011 is 'Jack and jill', for the year 2009 it was 'Transformers: Revenge of the fallen'!!! and also some of the movies like 'Twilight saga :Breaking dawn -part 1',Twilight saga: eclipse','Tranformers: Dark of the Moon','G.I.Joe: The rise of cobra' etc., were in the nominees list!!

*Worst actor of the year 2010 is 'Adam sandler' for the movie 'Jack and jill' (he also got the award for worst actress for the same year, he played a dual role in this movie). Some of the famous actors in the nominees list are 'Al pacino','Nicolas cage', 'Jack black', 'Jim carrey' etc.,!!!

*In case of actress, the famous actresses in the nominees list are 'Kristen stewart','Megan fox', 'Cameron diaz','Jessica alba' etc., !!

*Worst Director of the year 2011 is 'Denis Dugan' for movies 'Jack and Jill' & 'Just go with it' and in the nominees list i found 'Sylvester Stallone' for 'The Expendables'!!!

Life not worth of a shit...

When im thinking about a word to start with ,the one came to my mind is SHIT!! dont panic im not gona talk about shit. When a random person like your mom, dad, sister, brother, your most hostile enemy- your relatives,especially if you are a graduate without a job, ask you this question, "So then what are you gona do?", "what is your plan for your future?", what will be your response?. Most of us ,including me, lie to them. yeah we lie to our family friends everyone. think of the careers or ambition you told to everyone that its yours, from the day you remember. Well in my case its computer engineer, IAS, Doctor (god! i even dreamed me in white coat!),electronics engineer,software engineer(which is the only thing i ever succeed in my life, but with my luck, well its another story).Like me every one of us has a considerable list i hope. These are your answers to others questions, what is to yours?

 Have you ever felt like "OMG!! this is my destiny". Have you ever asked yourself what do you REALLY want?!!

What??!! ,you do know your destiny and you are on to it??!! Then i bet you are a Million dollar Baby or a psychopath!!

So what im trying to say is... living a life for others is Life not even worth of a shit!!
but Living your life in the way you want and with what you want is worth of a...err.. more than a shit i think ;).. 
Know what you want, give it a shot atleast ONCE!!

Epic concludes today !!!

Well from today we ought to see the conclusion of the triology of  the Epic of the Dark knight by Christopher nolan!!!

I admire the character, Batman, because of his intellectual mind and actions and also the most crucial fact that he is one of the superheroes without any superpowers!!!

So today lets turn over pages of origin of this hero who rules the comic world and presently the Bigscreens!!!

Artist Bob kane and writer Bill fringer are the creators of the superhero character Batman. He appeared for the first time in "Detective comics".In 1940 he earned his own comic book titled as "Batman".Later his fame spreadout allover the world and he was also called as "the caped crusader",''the world's greatest detective" and we know that as "the dark knight".

Batman haunted the villains allover the comic world in a fictional city named as "Gotham city".

The most 'beloved' villain of alltimes is Joker!! and next to him leads a list of the villain butts batman kicked out like Twoface,catwoman, penguin, Bane etc.,

We know that till now he is one of the most powerful icon in the comic world, atleast for comic lovers 

Same goes for the anime. Based on batman several anime series and movies were formed later. Also Batman teamed up with other heroes like Superman to save the world i.e.,(Justice league)

In case of Bigscreen first movie 'Batman' was directed by Tim burton and starring Michael keaton as Batman. Before that Batman appeared in a feature film "Batman" in 1966 which was an adaptation on 60's TV series.

Leading to several movies were taken as the sequel to that and the famous stars like Val kilmer and George cloony played the character of Batman. Then our favorite Christopher nolan came up with the idea of restarting the Batman's story with his film "Batman begins" in 2005. Now its the third movie "The dark knight rises" (2012) which is a sequel to "The dark knight"(2008) and also 7th movie based on Batman.

Hence the epic of Batman comes to an end in bigscreen today!! But that wont stop our buddy 'Bats'. The dark knight will creep at our nights through comics and anime. So Bat'lovers enjoy the movie !!!

First superstar- Rajesh khanna

                 Though the new concepts and new technologies made today's era of movies in to an awesome new world ,the soothe and heart touching ability of the old movies were not yet achieved .. as the proverb "Old is gold"....!

                      Some are still fond of old movies..well they dont think that as movies but celebrate them as an epic..!! And so they are so revered to the ever green actors of the evergreen movies.. though most of them are revered as excellent and marvelous actors only some of them are 
worshiped as LEGENDS!!,  because they shined with extraordinary talents in their career as an actor.. they had some magic in their acting so they had blown the people with their outstanding performance.. since cinema industry is the most powerful media it effected in so many sensitive
 fields like politics, especially in India!! the legends who took cinema into a complete new level become a remarkable icon when he/she passed away. Like recent death of the actor of fame 
, Rajesh khanna ,(18 July 2012) made some slight tremor in the nation especially in northern parts.. 

                      Origin of Rajesh khanna is punjab, where he had grown up in te name Jatin khanna. starting his acting career in his debut film "Aakri khat" in 1966 he acted so many films till 1980's.
 he made the fans craze for his romantic acts. he even also had been a playback singer for more than 8 movies.

                         Later at 1991 he jumped in to politics and he served as M.P for 5 years. meanwhile 
he also acted in a movie "Khudai" in 1994 and he continued his acting career till 2009 in both cinema and serials.

                        His health had been deteriorating meanwhile and he admitted in hospital on 14 July. He was discharged and back to home on 17 July. In his bungalow, Aashirvad,mumbai he left the world in peace in the presence of his wife,Dimple kapadia,daughters-Rinkhie khanna and Twinkle khanna and other relatives.!! His funeral was due to take place on 19 July,today.

               May his soul rest in peace.. Thanks for his service to both cine-world and people !!!
